Okay. My sailing competition just ended yesterday. Waa... It was fun man! Just that my position was lousy.. Really hoped that i did better. My competition started on Tuesday and ended yesterday. Waa..
Tuesday's wind was crazy! We launched our boats at 11am. (Aww..no AP flag flown) The wind was not strong at first. It was only about 2knots. Then a storm suddenly hit and rose to 15-18knots! Crazy wind! Made me capsize so many times man! We had 3 races on Tuesday, but i retired on the 2nd race. The wind was too strong for me and i kept capsizing. All my energy was drained out of me. I was really struggling to keep afloat. I did not even have the energy to upright my boat, so i just clung onto my capsized boat and drifted away with the current. I drifted for about 30mins when i suddenly saw Noel. LOL. What was Noel doing?? Shouldn't he be sailing the race course? Why is he near me when i drifted away so far from the race course.. Anyway, he told me that he didn't know where to go and he had no energy to continue racing too! Yea. But he was in a better condition than me. So, he tried to help me to upright my boat but to no avail. Both of us just drifted further and further away from the race course.. So, both of us had no energy left in us and we just drifted.. Alas! After about another 30min wait, we saw a speed boat coming towards us. Lol. Perhaps it is the race officials wondering why two boats have drifted so far away from the race course?? Nope. That isn't the reason. It was two Thai guys who came to our rescue! Yes, Thai guys.. Lol. We had a hard time communicating to them as they didn't know how to speak English. Okay. But they could see that both Noel and i had no energy left in us and needed help. Okay.. So they helped us to upright my capsized boat. After a long long while trying to upright my boat, they finally uprighted it. Gosh! My whole sail came out and my boat couldn't even be used to sail now! Anyway, my boat was in such a bad condition that they had to de-rig my boat in water! Yup. Then they asked Noel to sail back to shore on his boat first and i got onto the speed boat and they sent me back to shore. Saved! Lol. Yup. So i put my two hands together and bowed to them saying 'thank you'. Lol. That was the very least that i could do. I should have said 'Sawadikap' right?? Lol. Yea. Sawadikap is the Thai word for Thank You. Anyway, that's for day one, Tuesday. Sounds really like a story right?? Lol. Yea, but it really happened.
Day two, Wednesday had no wind. AP was raised and the races were postponed till the wind picked up. Lol. But the wind didn't pick up, so we ended up not racing! Thursday and Friday had no wind or very very light wind too. But we still sailed due to the lack of time for all the races. Saturday had little wind but we still sailed. Yup. Anyway, throughout the competition, i had four competitors. Erm..my own competitors for the races. They are Sail number 333 from HIJ(S), SIN 450 from Katong Convent, SIN 8006 from Victoria School and SIN 805 from Mayflower Secondary. Yup. At the end of the last race on Saturday, SIN 450 and SIN8006 beat me by a few rankings! Damn! The guy from Victoria, SIN 8006 was tyco lor! For all the other 8 races, i beat him by a lot. But on the last race, he won my by one position!! Yup. Then the KC sailor, SIN 450. She was winning me by one or two positions for the other races. But on the last race, she beat me by 4 rankings i think..! HIJ sailor, 333 was beaten by me. So was Mayflower sailor, SIN 805. Lol. I recognise the Mayflower sailor coz she was also my competitor for the March Regetta competition. Wears a dark blue Adidas cap..easy to recognise. Okay. So there were 138 byte ( Byte is a type of sail boat!) sailors in the competition. We were then split into the Gold and Silver Fleet after the qualifying round of 5 races. I got into the Silver Fleet.. Not as good la. But never mind. TK only has 3 sailors in the Gold Fleet anyway. So there were 69 sailors in the Silver Fleet. At the end of the competition, i got 39.. Aww.. Could have done much better la! I slacked for this competition! I could have got a 20-plus ranking. Never mind. I will work harder for the July Inter-school competition. That is the most important competition of the year. So, jia you!
Okay. That's all for my sailing competitions. Many foreigners in this June Sentosa Regetta competition yea. Foreigners from Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Thailand, Belgium, Germany, Philippines and blah blah.. Whatever la. International competition yea?? Lol. Holidays also the last day le. So..everybody jia jia jia you!! =D Hatred. Hate him. HIM. I said him. WHo is he? ME, myself and my bro. Idiot. Aiya. Dont feel like blogging actually. But since i can use the computer for a short while, i might as well blog. Hmm.. The blur-headed me haven't even started on a single holiday homework! Whenever i try to do the holiday assignments, i would just stare blankly at the homework, not knowing how to do it. My mind's just blank man! Zzz..i'm dumb!
Okay. So i only have about one more week left to complete my holiday homework, coz i would be having my sailing competitions for the whole of next week! Eeks! I'm not mentally prepared lor! I thought my sailing teacher told me that i didn't have to compete for this competition?! I just competed in the March one leh! Then have the June regatta..and then the July's INTER-SCHOOL!!! Gosh! Pressure! Must beat MayFlower..must beat MayFlower! Blah. So my competition would start on the 19th of june till the 23rd of june. Hmm..it's just five days actually. Hope i would not be 'chao ta' after the competition. LOL.
Okay. Lol. I was supposed to use the computer for about only five minutes, but i ended up using it longer. Lol. I was just supposed to print out some stuff but ended up blogging. Lol. Okay. Shall end here for today then. I did nothing much today. Just wasted another day away. Hmm..i woke up at 10am and ate my breakfast before going for my haircut. Oh gosh! I wanted to keep my hair long just for the holidays and just thin my hair. But my dad was an extra at the salon man. He told the guy who was cutting my hair to cut slope at the back for me. Gosh! Slope leh! I hate it lor! Blah. Then that guy was in a delimma whether to follow my dad's instructions or mine, coz i protested. In the end i gave in to my dad and had some sucky hairstyle that only my dad liked.. So i just told the barber 'sui bian' when he asked me what to do. So he went ahead with the slope lor. Cut my hair till so short and cut away my fringe!! Gosh! Whatever la. Cant be bothered by anything. Whatever lor. Do whatever he wants to do.
Then after i went for my haircut, i skipped lunch coz i had no appetite. Then i went straight for to TSC to helpout in some souvenir making thing. Hmm..why help out? Coz i'm just simply too bored at home. It's better to help out than waste away time. Haiz..while i'm the bored guy here, Benny is jam packed with activities! I envy him so much lor! I texted him and a few other friends yesterday, asking them when they are free and whether they wanna go out with me. No replys de! Okay, wait. Only my biao jie and Benny replied me. Biao jie is also jam packed, but she managed to squeeze in some time to accompany me and my bro and sis to go out with us. So she scheduled a Thursday. Hmm..go where leh? She suggested Bishan. Zzz..of all places why Bishan? Ok, nevermind. Then Benny. I asked Benny whether he wanted to go out with me sometime during the holidays when he is free. He said sure! Okay, cool then. But when i asked him when he was free, he told me that he didn't know. Zzz.. He said he wasn't sure. So, i began shooting days at him. I asked him if Wednesday or Friday was fine for him and he said no. Aww..Benny the busy guy! So i was telling him that i am so bored with nothing to do at home and he told me that he was the complete opposite! Aiya, good for him lor!
Shaun? Ya la! Shaun you bugger! Agreed to go out with me de! We made an agreement the other time lor! Haiz..it's a five people agreement actually. Me, Benny, Shaun, Zinn and Aaron were supposed to go out together! Zzz.. Blah la! Screw the plan!
Okay. Noel? Aiya, that guy ar.. Everytime we fix a day that we could go out together or he come meet me, then he would last minute pang seh me! Lol. Hmm..okay, let's see who else.. Oh ya! Then there's Mark! Ok, let's call him Marky. That guy is also always jam packed with his other friends. Musician la! Always out with his band friends de. If it's not those from his school's Military Band, then he's out with those from his Yamaha Band. Cool guy la. Plays the guitar damn good ( Yamaha offered him to be a teacher! LOL.) and also plays the saxophone! Hey wait! Marky also plays the drum like a pro too hor.. But he too bad he only has an electric guitar and a saxophone at home! Erm..i mean, that's very good already!! Aiya. But Marky managed to squeeze some time for me yesterday. Hey wait, he was the one bored yesterday and requested me to go for a swim with him. I was bored at home with nothing to do too, so i obliged.
Oh ya! And there's Nicholas! Hmm..the one from Flint Batch 3! Hey dude, you're always there trying to cheer me up eh? Lol. Just went out with him the other day. Hmm..thinking about the word cheer up, i also think about the word 'emo'. And when i think of the word 'emo', i think about the nickname that shaun gave me on his blog. Okay, there's another Justin in my level, so he gave me the nickname, 'The emoer African American'! Gosh man! What kinda nickname is that?! Lol.
Blah. And i also would be having my sailing competitions again from the 19th of June to the 23rd of June. Five days straight, and that means that the whole of the last week of the holidays is gone for me! Oh no.. I basically just waste away my time lor. And yup.. There's maths tution for me tmw. Oh no! I haven't even done my homework. I keep draggin lor. Lol. I am the bad one who keeps telling my tution teacher that i'm not free, but in actual fact, i haven't even done my tution homework! Blah. My mind's just blank, so i stare at the homework like a sotong. Looking at the formulas and questions like a blurhead and not knowing how to do a single question. Hmm..i think i'll just tell my tution teacher tmw that i forgot all my formulas and ask him to teach me again. Like some form of revision. Okay la! That's set! Okay. Tired of blogging le. Zzz.. Will blog another day. Hmm..i also dunno what to blog about leh. I just basically spend my time at home doing nothing, nothing, nothing! What do i do at home? Nothing but sleep! I'm bored with the stuff i do man. Holiday homework? Can't be bothered to do it at all! Why leh? My attitude is already changing to some hopeless freak. Hopeless beyond cure. Okay. I did work very hard for my Mid-year exams okay?? But why are my results just shit?! So hopeless that i have to see the level head with my parents and the level head told me that i am having a high risk of being kicked out of the school. She also added that if i were to be kicked out of the school, it would be almost impossible for me to get into another school. Okay, if that's really the case, i would be hopeless beyond cure. No future, and left with nothing.
LOL. Why am i talking about all this kinda hopeless stuff? I should be cheering myself up right? Dumb.. Ok. Whatever. If i somehow get back my determination to study, then good for me. But if i dont, i'm a gonner. Whatever. Even if i have nothing left in the world, i still have the Gohonzon. Just chant hard and all problems will be solved! I WAS TOLD TO STOP ACTING INNOCENT BECAUSE MY ACTIONS WERE NEVER FORGOTTEN MUCH LESS FORGIVEN.

I WAS TOLD TO SHUT UP. Wee!!! I'm back from Australia!!! I love the temperature there, love the places there and love my cutest and youngest cousin sister, Baby Gayle!!! ^^ The reason why i visited Perth, Australia this time is to visit my Xiao Jiu Jiu, Xiao Jiu Mu and Baby Gayle! Ok. Other than my family, my yiyi, po po and gong gong also went to Australia with me! Just a brief introduction to my trip in Australia. The temperature there is cool man! I simply just love it! It ranges at around 4degrees to about 19degrees. Hmm..but the coldest that I experienced at this trip was about 6degrees at night. It's not really that cold except when the wind blows, it gets really chilly. Okay. Before the trip, i got all excited and stuff about the caravan right? Hmm..but in the end, because we had 11 people and we had too many people and can't fit into the caravan, we just rented another car in addition to my Xiao Jiu Jiu's Hyundai Sonata. Okay, so that's how we managed to fit 11people to travel around. Yup. I also did write down what activites and what places i visited on a book, so that i could blog about it when i returned to Singapore. Here goes..

Saturday -(6.06am)
Just arrived in Perth Airport after four and a half hours of travelling on the plane. The temperature outside now is 13degrees. Not very cold! How i wished it would be colder! Lol. I would be venturing out of Perth later.

Visited Rockingham and took a cruise to Penguin Island. We saw the smallest type of penguins on earth! The Fiery penguins! Cute! Then we went to Fremantle, one of the city which has the oldest and most preserved buildings in Western Australia. Had fish and chips dinner at a famous restaurant there, recommended by some Australians. The fish and chips there just simply suck! It's super dry, they dont give you any sauce (not even chilli or tomato sauce!) and i just dont like the taste of the food! Okay, whatever.


Sunday -( Forgot to record the time..)
Visited Busselton Jetty, which is the longest in the sourthen hemisphere. Then we also visited Yongurup National Park. Blah. Lazy to write on..


Monday -(11.50pm)
First stop today was Warren National Park. The main attraction there is the two hundred year old Bicentenial Tree. The amazing feat that the Bicentenial Tree holds is that it is 70m tall, and is the tallest tree top lookout in the world. Next, we drove to Pemberton Wine Centre and tasted wine. Before we left the winery,we bought a bottle of Lost Valley Honey Rouge wine.
After purchasing the bottle of wine, we drove to Gloucester National Park. We spent some time at the cascade rapid waters and took some photos. After that, we drove to Nornalup. We went for the Tree Top Canopy Walk, which is the longest Tree Top Canopy Walk in the world. It is 600m in length and reaches a highest point of 40m above ground level. After that, we took a quick tour of 'the valley of Giants', which had all the tall and giant trees. Finally, we drove to Denmark (a town in Western Australia) and rest there for the night.


Tuesday -(10.35pm)
Hmm..today was one day where we didn't really went to much places. By the time everyone woke up and eaten breakfast, it was already about 9plus it the morning. We were behind schedule and had to skip going to William National Park. We missed attractions like the green pool and the elephant rock. Aww..nevermind. Yup. So we left the house and drove towards another town, Albany. Oh ya. Before that, there is something that i should mention. My family was kinda unsatisfied with the apartment that we stayed in. It looks so small with six beds squeezed inside the 'thing'. Yup. The 'thing' is what i use to describe the container-shaped apartment. It really looks like a container yea. Haha. Yup. So my yiyi and my dad lodged a complain with the manager and they blah blah blah.. Whatever, adults business. Then we drove to Torndirrup National Park, or otherwise know as Frenchmen Bay at Albany. We visited attractions like 'the gap' and the 'natural bridge'. It was awesome. Then for the rest of the day, we did nothing much.


Wednesday -(11.25pm)
Yawn, yawn.. Just arrived back in Perth from Albany after a nine hour drive. Nine hours man! By the time everyone got ready to leave Albany, it was already about 10am. We were late! The worst part is that we forgot to return the previous apartment's keys that we stayed in last night! Gosh! So, we had to drive from Albany all the way back to Denmark. It was a one hour drive there. So by the time we drove there and drove back, and blah blah blah, it was already about 1pm. So the actual journey from Albany back to Perth actually started at 1pm.
So we drove and drove and drove for about three hours before we stopped by at a scenic point, the Wave rock. It was already 5pm by the time we reached the Wave rock. ( The sun sets at 5pm!) It's really cool man! The Wave rock is formed by wind more than a billion years ago and has the shape of sea waves. It's 40m in height! Ok, i shall stop here. I'm tired. Good night.


Thursday -(12.00am)
Okay. We departed from Perth today and headed up North. Hmm.. Today was a disppointment. By the time everyone woke up and was ready to set off, it was already about 11am. We wasted a lot of precious time. Then we headed off to Lancelin. It was a two hour drive. We had to skip going to Yanchep National Park due to the lack of time. So we headed off to the sand dunes in Lancelin. The sand dunes were really cool. We rented some sand boarding equipment for a few hours till about 3.30pm. The sun sets in Australia during winter time at about 5pm. So, we had to rush to Cerventes for attractions like the Pinnacle Desert and Kangaroo Point. It was a three hour drive there, and by the time we were almost reaching, it was pitch dark. Blah. So we had dinner and stuff. So we had to go to the Pinnacle Desert tmw. No going to the beautiful Kalbarri. So after Pinnicle Desert, we would be heading back to Perth. No choice. Gotta make sacrifices. Okay. That's all for today.


Friday -(11.38pm)
Okay. Woke up late today and was in a rush to get ready. We managed to hit the road at around 9am, but had to skip our breakfast due to the lack of time. Then we drove for about three hours to Nambung National Park, where there were attractions like Kangaroo Point and the Pinnacles. First, we visited Kangaroo Point. Gosh! That place was such a disappointment. There were no kangaroos! No kangaroos were seen at all! Maybe we were too noisy and scared all the kangaroos away, or just didn't see them because they are noctural animals and sleep during the day!
Next, we moved on to the Pinnacles. The pinnacles are thousands of tall rocks protruding from the ground and used to be part of the sea bed millions of years ago. But it was hot, and hot there! It was a desert! We left the Pinnacles at around 2pm and drove for 4hours back to Perth. We arrrived at Perth at around 6pm and did some some shopping. Okay, i'm tired. Good night.


Saturday -(12.00am)
Hmm.. Today was basically spent on shopping. We went to this mega mall called Westfield Carousel in Perth City to shop around 11am. We shopped all the way till the mall closed at 5pm. We bought many things yea. Then we went back to my Xiao Jiu Jiu's house in Perth to rest. Hmm.. Then i went out with my dad and yiyi for 'Hungry Jacks' dinner. Then we walked to a nearby bistro bar and bought pizza for the others! Then we went back to my Xiao Jiu Jiu's house to watch Jet Li movies one after another.. Haha. I'm gonna watch the third movie now. I shall stop here for today and watch my movie! Sa-yo-ra-na!


Sunday -(8.16pm)
Today was spent on City tour of Perth. I was the one who woke up the latest today, coz i watched my movie until 2am. We left Xiao Jiu Jiu's house at around 11am and went to the Perth bell tower first. After that, we toured around Perth City and went to many gift shops. Bought a lot of stuff and everyone was happy, happy, happy! We were all tired after the shopping, so we went back to Xiao Jiu Jiu's house to rest. Xiao Jiu Jiu whipped up a sumptous meal and we had kangaroo meat for dinner!!! Then now, i'm watching another movie again.. LOL. I will be boarding a 1am flight back to Singapore later. Home sweet home! =D




Okay. That was what i basically did during my trip to Australia. Hmm.. Did we actually travelled the 3000plus km? Yea, we did. In fact, we travelled about 3500km, i think. Sun sets in Australia at 5pm during winter time, so we have to pack all our activities and leave before 5pm. The sky during 5pm there is as dark as the sky in Singapore at about 9pm. Then at 9pm in Australia, it looks like past midnight in Singapore, with most of the shops closed and pitch black, looking like a ghost town. Hmm.. Oh yup. Photos you may ask me? Yea. I took plenty of them with my handphone. I took more than 200 photos during the trip in fact! All nice photos! Just that i haven't uploaded them to the PC. I will try to do that asap and you people will see how beautiful Australia is. Australia is beautiful, but not the Australians. Okay, fine. They have a good sense of fashion taste there, but i just don't like the Australians attitude. (If any Australian reads this, no offence ar..) Just don't like it. Okay la. I shall stop all my crap here. Blah. Hope you people have an enjoyable June Holidays and don't be like me rotting at home after i return from Australia! Can someone just ask me out and go somewhere? I don't wanna be stuck at home!!! Bye! =D
