Haha. I have no idea why im posting about the o8o8o8 Beijing olympics, but yea here i am doing it! The opening ceremony of the Beijing olmypics was on 080808 which was last friday at 8pm beijing time. Beijing time is the same as singapore's so no time zone difference. Anyway, i was amazed by the stunning opening ceremony that china put up. Whoa! I bet the China government spent millions of dollars on the fireworks! My dad told me that they spent 100million on just the fireworks alone! I learnt a lot about china's history through the performance that was put up. And the opening ceremony lasted for about 4 hours plus! It started at 8pm and ended around 12.10am. I watched the entire opening ceremony. However i agree that the later part of the ceremony was kinda boring though. About 2 hours plus was spent on watching the various teams from different countries march in. There were 204 teams in all and the USA and China teams were the biggest! Each had about 500 to 600plus people i guess? Its gonna be a big showdown between China and USA to see which country grabs the most gold medals. Im rooting for USA all the way! Ha! I was in for another treat yesterday when China and USA's basketball team had a match. I bet it must be the biggest match of all time! I read on the newspaper that an expected crowd of 3billion people worldwide would be glued to the match whether live or to the tv. And i rooted for the USA team! The USA team consisted of 3 NBA all-star players. They were Lebron James, Dawyne Wade and KOBE BRYANT! The China team had the 2.26m tall Yao Ming from the Houston Rockets in the NBA. The China and US team were initially tied at the beginning with USA leading by a small margin. The China players could not even enter the field goal areas and had to resort to 3-point shots! I must agree that i was kinda amazed by the accuracy of the China team's 3-pointer shots. However, the USA team's speed and powerful dunks were even more impressive! Whoa! They did all kinds of dunks man! Two handed dunk, single handed dunk, and even back dunk! The score finally ended at 101 to 70 with the USA team overpowering the China team. The match ended after a long 2 hours at around 12midnight.
I hope that team USA would win the most gold medals in the medal tally and the USA basketball team winning the gold medal in basketball. Go kobe braynt, michael phelps and all other American athletes!
End of a week finally!

Gosh! Another tiring week is finally over! I dread each new week as it comes, dread the piling schoolwork and upcoming tests. Each passing week leads to hell and i'm getting kinda worried and scared of the up and coming o levels and prelims. Prelims is just a month away but it seems that i am still in a slack mood and can bring myself to study. I guess it's just one thing that i lack. Yea and it's motivation. That word seemed to have disappeared from my dictionary of words a long time ago and i have yet to get the motivation. Maybe it's just me being lazy. Everyday is a long and tiring journey for me. Wake up, go to school, absorb nothing that teacher teaches and go home. This process repeats itself everyday. I'm really kinda scared as o levels draw nearer and nearer but i just seem to do nothing. After lessons everyday, i still stay in school to play basketball to 6 or 7 plus before i go home. Worse still, i skip extra lessons or afternoon tests sometimes because i feel too tired mentally or just plain lazy. Even when i reach home, all i do is eat dinner, watch tv slack around and go to sleep. I seldom touch my books.
How i wished everything would just fly pass in a blink of an eye..
