I'm currently on holiday in malaysia! I departed from singapore on the 19th of december and should be returning on the 26th of december. One day after christmas! Sorry to all the friends who wanna spend christmas with me in singapore! So sorry to have 'pangseh-ed' everyone and gone on holiday myself! Haha. During the few days of my trip, i've visited pangkor island, a faraway offshore island which is about a 3 hour drive from where my relatives in malaysia live.

Wish everyone a merry christmas! Here i am blogging again! Haven't blogged for quite some time so i'll start from what happened last friday.

Last Friday

Went out with zhengjie and yan yee! The main purpose was for yan yee to pass zhengjie and me our kotekitai performance tickets actually. I ended work at 4pm that day and zhengjie met me below my block. It was raining very heavily at that time so we were not sure whether we should brave the storm and take a bus to the marina square. We waited awhile for the rain to subside a little and then we decided to chiong out to the nearest bus stop! Haha! Zhengjie was telling me that he was afraid his budget F.O.C umbrella could not take the strong wind and would break into two. Haha. By the time we managed to chiong to the bus stop which was just 100m away, we were already drenched like some 'wet chicken'! My shoes and jeans were all wet and i almost froze on the bus! We reached marina square at about 5 plus only to find out that yan yee was still at home sleeping. -.- Can't blame her acutally. She fell sick in the morning plus she had our tickets, so we had to wait for her anyway! By the time she rushed from bishan down to marina, it was already almost 7. Zhengjie and i were very bored so we just walked around marina square and watched people play pool while waiting. Oh ya, we were so hungry and couldn't wait any longer to the extent that we had dinner first without her. Haha. Very bad of us right?

No choice ah. When she arrived at around 6 plus, we went to Macs to have a 2nd round of dinner. Nah, not really dinner actually. I had an ice cream and zhengjie bought a drink. We got our tickets from yan yee too- Zhengjie took one for himself while i took three. -.- I felt kinda greedy taking so many. I didn't had a choice coz the other two tickets were for my sis and her 'special someone' -.- After dinner, we were discussing whether to play bowling, arcade, pool or watch a movie. Although i wanted to play pool, we ended up catching a movie coz yan yee wanted to watch. Girls have the final say so i just had to hush. -.- We watched the chihuahua show coz the timing was just right for it and i thought it was gonna be a lousy show but it ended up not too bad. Kinda cute actually. Haha.


Last saturday, sunday and monday


Haha! I cramp these three days all into one coz it's basically just work work and work! Working is quite fun actually coz i have really friendly and funny colleagues. Haha. But of the three days, sunday was the busiest and i had no idea why. On a normal day, by about 9pm the number of customers would start to decrease and by ten there would only be about 3 to 5 tables of customers left. However, on sunday at around 9pm, the crowd was still that of 7pm or 8pm! I was lucky that my work ended at 10pm on that day and i didn't have to do clearing up coz i guess by the time everyone cleared up the mess left by customers, it would already by 11.30pm or almost midnight. I was lucky to 'sneak' away early and i left with Agnes. Was crapping with her and gossiping about the managers on the bus. Haha.



Now


Now? I'm blogging! Haha. It's exactly 1.11pm on my clock now so i guess i gotta get ready at around 4pm for work. I'm taking the evening shift today which means that i'll be working from 5pm to 11pm. I didn't really checked who were the others working with me today. Hope the fun people would be working with my or i''l be really bored for the 6 hours just serving customers. I wish myself good luck for work later! Jiayou!


___________________________________________________________________ Gosh. My 24hours of work training is finally done! Haha. I spent the last few days slogging for about an average of 5hours a day working!


So that means that tmw will be my first official day at work! Haha. I've learnt many things and gained valuable experiences from the past few days. I learnt to serve customers, collect the bills, welcome customers into the store and many more! Oh yea, memorising what each dish's name is the most difficult! There were times when i served the dishes and got confused with the dish's name and the customers would go 'Ah? I ordere that?' HAHA! Super funny and i would go 'Oh sorry sorry! I'll help you to check your order again.' But after that, i would be very paiseh and kinda malu to go back to the same table again. Haha. But it's okay ah. Everyone makes mistakes plus i'm just a newbie! Haha. I was the newest staff intially until there came another girl today. She has a small build and looks quite young so i guess she must be 16 only. I finally get to exercise some authority coz i'm now a senior! Haha.



The people at my workplace are really nice. Haha. Even the supervisors are nice! There's one supervisor who calls everyone 'darling' so i kinda got a shock when she called me that too. I was like," What did you call me?" LOL. Oh yea, my name isn't justin there too. it's changed to Jay. Cool name right! Haha. Even the name Jay is on my name tag and everyone calls me that. Not many people know my real name. Haha. All the colleagues are also very friendly. Although i've just known them for a couple of days, i seem quite close to them and feel comfortable talking to them. We talk crap sometimes too. Haha. There was once the kitchen staff asked me to poour him 'iced hot water'. I was like "WHAT?!" Haha. I tio stun for a moment and it took me a few seconds before my mind could process that he was actually cracking a joke. -.-
